Famous American actor Mark Ruffalo shared the statement of United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Spokesperson James Elder regarding the Rafah city of Gaza, which is under Israeli attacks, on his X social media account.
Ruffalo said in his post that “help is desperately needed” for children in Gaza, where Rafah’s population has been forced to be relocated to “concentration camps filled with human neglect and suffering.”
Ruffalo, who has long been criticized for his support for the Palestinian cause, said people in Gaza were essentially given a choice: “Die in the desert or die at home.”
The Israeli army launched a land attack on the Rafah region yesterday morning and announced that it had captured the Palestinian side of Gaza’s Rafah Border Gate, which opens to Egypt.
