According to the statement made by Antalya DOB, the last “Tosca” opera performance of this season will be staged at Haşim İşcan Cultural Center on May 4 at 20.00.
The orchestra of the work, which will be staged under the direction of Yiğit Günsoy, will be conducted by the famous Italian conductor Lorenzo Castriota. The decor and costumes of the opera, which takes place in Rome in the 1800s, belong to Gülden Sayıl, and the lighting design belongs to Mustafa Eski.
In the work, which tells the love story of Tosca, who succumbed to her jealousy because of the greatness of her love, and her painter lover Cavaradossi, which ends in blood, “Tosca” is played by Bilge Yılmaz, “Cavaradossi” by Burak Pektaş, “Scarpia” by Serhat Konukman, “Angelotti” by Alaaddin Ataseven. Onur Alpaslan will play “Sagrestano”, Mustafa Özşamlı will play “Spoletta” and Yusuf Yıldız will play “Sciarrone”.
The principal violinist of the work, of which Mahir Seyrek is the conductor of Antalya DOB Choir and Sinem Ulusoy is the conductor of the Children’s Choir, will be Fahrettin Arda.
