Luis Suárez originated from Galicia, Spain. The football legend was born to Mr. and Mrs. Miramontes on May 2, 1935, in A Coruña, Galicia, where he spent the majority of his childhood. 

Later, the footballer resided in the working-class community of Monte Alto on Avenida de Hércules and went by the diminutive name Luisito.

The footballer was the youngest of three children born to his parents. He had two elder brothers with whom Luis used to play football. Sadly, both his brothers passed away and are no longer with us.
