When it comes to Griffin, Blake Griffin has a Christian faith. Blake expresses his trust and faith in God, but from a very advanced perspective. I’ll only speak for a moment since no one knows more about religion than I do, but Griffin sounds like a lot of my friends who are modern or progressive but are deeply religious. He talks about his need to believe in something more than our earthly life and his struggle to understand those who judge others, whether impoverished, LGBT or otherwise. Griffin was selected by the Clippers in the 2009 NBA Draft after playing two seasons of college basketball with the Sooners.

His father was a standout track and basketball player at Northwestern Oklahoma State University.
