Linda Roberts, a beloved member of the Dayton group, handed away in her residence below loving hospice care on Wednesday morning, April 24, 2024, in Dayton, Texas. She was born Linda Rayburn Clark on March 5, 1951, in Anahuac, Texas. She grew up in Hull-Daisetta and attended highschool there. She was married to Brad Roberts for 52 years and raised 3 youngsters, transferring between Highlands, Baytown after which settling in Dayton for the previous 32 years.
She was the glue and basis of her household and prolonged household – giving steady love and assist to her husband, youngsters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, prolonged household, associates and coworkers, all of whom will miss her dearly. Her love of gathering household and associates for her residence cooked meals made any event memorable. She created lengthy lasting and significant friendships with many. Her biggest high quality was in being herself – giving her candy spirit and compassion to others, all the time offering a listening ear, a shoulder to lean on, a serving to hand when wanted and all the time understanding the correct phrases to say.
Linda devoted 14 years of her later life to caring for kids within the child room at Kreative Kids Daycare in Dayton and previous to that spent 20 years working at Today’s Rental in Liberty. Her nurturing spirit and kindness left an enduring affect on all of the lives she touched.
Linda was actively concerned in numerous church buildings over time. She discovered solace and energy in her religion along with her totally different church households at Grace Community Baptist Church, Calvary Baptist Church and Gum Grove Baptist Church in Dayton, and Grace Baptist Church in Liberty.
Linda is survived by her daughters Carolyn Beitz and Melissa “Sissy” Leal (Ernst), brother Thomas Clark, sister Patricia Clark, grandchildren Jason Beitz (Patience), Holly Whittington (Mike), Sam Leal, and Harvey Leal. She can be survived by her great-grandchildren Wayne, Ethan, Harmony, Brianna, and Ryan, in addition to her nieces Debbie Fink (Andreas), Pamela Barber, Rochelle Gallegos (Chris) and plenty of extra prolonged household. She was identified by many alternative names by those that liked her – Honey, Mama, Aunt Linda, Sister, and Nana.
She was preceded in dying by her dad and mom Charles E. Clark Jr. and Maxine Carr Clark, husband Charles Brad “C. B.” Roberts Sr., son Charles “Brad” Roberts Jr., and brother John E. Clark, Sr.
A visitation to honor Linda’s reminiscence will happen on Friday, April 26, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. The funeral service will likely be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024, beginning at 10:00 AM on the identical location.
Pallbearers will likely be Jason Beitz, Sam Leal, Harvey Leal, Matthew Crawford, Chris Gallegos, and Allen Green. Honorary Pallbearers will likely be Wayne Beitz and Ethan Beitz.
In her ultimate moments, Linda was surrounded by her loving household as she transitioned peacefully into eternity. Her legacy of affection and compassion will proceed to encourage all those that had been lucky sufficient to know her.
