Minecraft is a game where you can explore and build stuff in a big world made of blocks. It was made by a person named Notch in 2009 and released fully in 2011. Lots of people play it every month, around 140 million. You can play it on lots of devices like computers, phones, and game consoles.
In Minecraft, you can do different things depending on what mode you choose. You can gather materials, make tools, and build houses to survive. Or you can have endless supplies and build whatever you want. There are also modes for adventuring, watching others, and playing really tough challenges.
People love Minecraft so much that they make their own stuff for the game, like new worlds and tools. It has won many awards and is called one of the best games ever. Some use it to learn about things like science and computer stuff. Microsoft bought Minecraft in 2014 and has made other games based on it. There’s even going to be a Minecraft movie in theaters soon.

- Added 5 new paintings by artist Sarah Boeving
