Lambeturah.co.id – Comedian Mpok Atiek brings unpleasant news. He was diagnosed with a tumor in his intestines.
Mpok Atiek revealed this when he was a guest star at the FYP event hosted by Irfan Hakim. He was seen crying when he talked about the illness he was suffering from.
“Is it true that he said there was a benign tumor?” asked Irfan Hakim.
“It’s not a benign tumor, it’s a polyp. Ah, don’t make it look scary,” answered Mpok Atiek.
This senior comedian felt there was something wrong with his stomach last June. He also admitted that he had difficulty defecating (BAB).
“It could take three or four days for her to defecate. Finally, she went to an internist and was referred to gastro. She had to have an endoscopy and colonoscopy. Long story short, there were a lot of polyps in the intestine,” said Mpok Atiek.
“Everything has been taken, there is one big one left like a meatball, it has roots. But, he said (the tumor) is benign, approaching malignant. Before it becomes malignant, it must be removed through the stomach,” he added.
However, Mpok Atiek did not dare to undergo surgery. “I’m afraid, because my mother died after surgery on her stomach, from colon cancer. So I’m afraid, thank God her stomach doesn’t hurt every day. Thank God her bowel movements went smoothly, but if I remember there (the operation) it’s scary,” he concluded.
