The Peruvian tiktoker Waldir Maqquerecognized for its rural cooking content with more than 3.3 million followers, has sparked controversy by recreating his own version of the “Chilean complet”.

In a recent video, the influencer chose to incorporate chorizos instead of Viennese, in addition to adding cheese and French fries to the traditional combination of avocado and tomato.

Although Maqque usually receives positive reactions for his publications, this one in particular generated an intense debate among Chilean users, who are very fans of the famous TikToker’s content.

While some praise the creativity and variation in the recipe, others defend the authenticity of the complete Chilean, expressing their opinion on the traditional ingredients. In response to the reactions, Waldir Maqque indicated that it was a ‘premium’ version of the Chilean complete.
