A video of a woman getting her first tattoo on her 80th birthday has gone viral as her reaction is so wholesome.
The grandmother decided to get the ink because it reminds her of someone very special and it’s the cutest thing ever.

In the viral video filmed by her granddaughter, the elderly woman is in the car on the way to a local tattoo parlour.
“Today is Nana’s 80th birthday and she’s off to get her first tattoo,” text on the screen says as the grandmother hilariously adds: “We’re going to the tattoo man.”
The clip then cuts to them walking into the shop and more text explains that she’s getting a butterfly as it reminds her of her mum.
“It seems a funny shop to go into,” she quips before walking in, sitting down and finalising the shape of the butterfly.
When the tattooist begins drawing on her upper arm, she funnily says it feels like she’s “inside a sewing machine”.
The woman gets her husband’s approval and says the whole experience was “lovely” but isn’t sure if she’d get another one as she can’t think any more designs.

The TikTok video is so ‘wholesome’
In the comments, TikTok users are calling the video wholesome and precious, and it’s even brought some people to tears.
