Actor Ferit Aktuğ was born on November 17, 1978 in Ankara. He completed his high school education at Ceyhan Halil Çiftçi Anatolian High School. He graduated from Dokuz Eylül University, Department of Economics.
In 2001, he studied acting in front of the camera at Akademi Istanbul Sanat. The first production he starred in was the TV series Koçum Benim.
In 2003, he appeared in a movie for the first time in the movie Everything About Mustafa, directed by Çağan Irmak. Afterwards, he played in TV series such as Campusistan and June Night, which were popular TV series of that period. Then, he played the role of commissioner Metin Kaygısız in his longest-running TV series, Kavak Yelleri, for 170 episodes. During this period, he acted in various commercials. The actor played the character named Mahir in the TV series Aramda Kalsın, broadcast on Star TV between 2013 and 2015, and the character named Genco in the TV series Kördükum, broadcast on FOX in 2016. Afterwards, he played the role of Taylan in the popular series Ufak Tefek Cinayetler, directed by Ali Bilgin. In 2019, he took part in the play Crocodile within Dasdas theater. He appeared as Selim in the movie War of the Elts, one of the most popular works of 2020.
