Ironing is a chore most of us want to avoid. That’s why we slowly but surely stop ironing things that don’t matter so much, we hang clothes precisely so that they are as little wrinkled as possible, and of course we buy dryers to stop ironing altogether. Add white vinegar to the wash
One cup of white vinegar added to the washing machine can scent and soften the laundry, almost “ironing” it. It works like a natural fabric softener with the difference that it also removes stains.
Wash smart
If you don’t want the laundry to surprise you with its outrageous wrinkles, always fill the washing machine only ¾ full, set the temperature to a maximum of 40 °C and the revolutions to a maximum of 800. You don’t have to worry, the laundry will be washed sufficiently and, moreover, it will not be so wrinkled.
Do not put off folding the laundry
As soon as the dryer calls you, run after it, take out the laundry and fold it immediately. Or better yet – hang anything you can hang. If you don’t have a dryer, do the same in the case of a washing machine. Hang the laundry immediately after washing.
Use an anti-crease spray
In our country, such a product is not used much yet, but it is a pity. Either get one or make one. Just mix one part water with one part fabric softener, mix and pour into the sprayer. Lightly spray some of the mixture on clean clothes that are hung, the wrinkles will disappear.
Return the laundry to the dryer
If you have a piece that is extremely wrinkled, there is nothing easier than putting it back in the dryer for a while. Also throw in a damp towel or washcloth for wrinkled items. Dry for 5-10 minutes.
Get a steamer
Steam is exactly what you need. The steam will smooth out any wrinkles on the clothes. A steamer is actually a more practical iron. You hang the laundry that needs ironing on a hanger and run the steamer over it. Under the influence of steam, all folds disappear. And you don’t have to take out the ironing board.
