Burgos is a legacy. It is history and it is a city in which it always works to return to the past to give value to the true future. Based on this premise, it was inaugurated yesterday the exhibition 40 years of #estiloverino that arrived in the city of El Cid with another squire who was none other than Roberto Verino himself.

Proud of the “magical union of art by ensuring that the audiovisual exhibition was integrated in a majestic way with the Monastery of San Juan”, the Galician designer has chatted with EL ESPAÑOL to describe us 10 magical moments from this exhibition which can be seen in Burgos until February 19, 2022.
1- Rediscovering Burgos
Roberto Verino arrived yesterday in Burgos. The designer walked through the city accompanied by the brand’s executive director, Dora Casal, Daniel de la Rosa, mayor of Burgos, and his chief of staff, Antonio Fernández.
2- The majestic covered cloister of the Monastery of San Juan
The fifth stop of the exhibition on the occasion of the 40 years of #estiloverino is celebrated in a unique place: the covered cloister of the Monastery of San Juan.
The origins of the Monastery of San Juan date back to the 11th century, when the French monk Lesmes settled in this place with the idea of launching a small care complex at the service of Jacobean pilgrims.
3- The warmth of the people upon their arrival in Burgos
Supported at all times by friends of the brand, the designer posed upon arrival at the Monastery with the mayor of Burgos, Daniel de la Rosa and Rosa Niño, councilor for commerce.
4- A speech full of artistic references
The designer aimed to be in a “magical place surrounded by art on all four sides” and invited people to discover the audiovisual exhibition with the help of the best fashion photographers.
5- Influencers, friends and a lot of fashion
From the hand of influencers who came to the inauguration, the brand “remember that icons never die,” said Verino when talking about the great top models present in the photographic exhibition.
6- Transgenerational fashion
“The aesthetic proposal of #estiloverino is transgenerational. They are clothes that your daughter can wear, that you can wear yourself and feel elegant, free, empowered and, above all, be happy,” said Roberto Verino.
7- The company as a pillar of constant innovation
Accompanied by its executive director, Dora Casal, Verino faces a time in which “innovation is a vital constant for us,” he said.
The brand has just won a textile innovation accelerator led by the Vigo Free Trade Zone Consortium in which 10 companies accelerate their textile projects with the help of sector experts.
9- The most personal exhibition in its 4 decades of fashion
The best top models such as Helena Christensen, Christie Turlington or photographers such as Javier Vallhonrat, Eloy Lozano or Jacques Olivar are part of the exhibition that stops in Burgos as the fifth stop on its tour after starting in Verín, the designer’s hometown.
10- An entrepreneur who exudes passion
“I am calm and serene, looking forward with optimism,” is how Roberto Verino told us how he felt after starting this 2023 full of projects.
“The passion for every project I start keeps me alive and excited. I am lucky to have a dream like my company in which I have such valuable people by my side,” he stated for El Español.
