It is with great sadness that we announce to you
the death of our parents, now united in eternity.
Our father Alphonse Sylvain, aged 88, died on December 26, 2023 and our mother Lise Morin, aged 83, joined him on March 9, 2024. They were surrounded by love until the very end.
Married for over 64 years, our dad didn’t want to leave his wife and she couldn’t live without him. Their love was stronger than anything. They lived in Saint-Hippolyte most of their lives, where they were very active in their community and their parish.

They leave a legacy of love to their five children: Danielle (Denis), Lorraine (Jocelyn), Manon (late Michel), Marc (Chantal) and Nathalie (Pierre); their seven grandchildren: Mélisande (Yann), David (Jo-Anny), Francis, Roxane (Carol-Ann), Maxime (Edith), Samy-Jade (Édouard) and Angélie; their seven great-grandchildren: Maély, Alycia, Jacob, Yuna, Joachim, Ben and Mia. They are also survived by Pierre’s children and grandchildren; their brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, several nephews and nieces as well as other relatives and friends.
The funeral will take place on Saturday, June 22 at 11 a.m., at the Saint-Hippolyte church (2259 ch. des Hauteurs), followed by burial in the cemetery of the same location. The family will be present at the church from 9:30 a.m. to receive condolences.
