You may think that your home is one of the safest places for you, but sometimes that may not be the case. Even if you constantly clean your home and everything is in order, some habits can make your home dangerous for the health of the whole family.

Here are some signs that there is danger in your home:

1. Moisture – the air, of course, cannot be completely dry. When you shower, cook, or even just breathe, you humidify the air. However, it is harmful to use humidifiers too often, because this can lead to the appearance of mold and fungus in hidden places. You will not see them, but the controversial fungi that enter the body through the respiratory tract are very harmful to your health. They may lead to watery eyes, runny nose, cough and even skin infection.

2. You don’t clean your vent – think about when you haven’t cleaned the ventilation in your home. We bet there are tons of dust in the vents that can lead to serious health problems like asthma or respiratory problems.

3. You rarely change your bed linen – it can also contain a lot of bacteria and harmful fungi. You should iron bed linen before changing it to further disinfect it. Change it at least once a week when the weather is warm and twice a month when the weather is cold. Don’t let laziness get you into trouble.

4. Do not dust frequently – in fact, wiping with a wet cloth or rag only once a week is not enough at all. Dust is a strong allergen and should not be allowed to accumulate. It contains harmful substances that can harm your family’s health. Don’t ignore it, especially if someone in your home has an allergy to house dust.

5. You don’t clean the spaces under massive furniture – even if you clean every day, you probably move all the furniture. In fact, if you don’t, it’s like you’re not cleaning your home at all. You should clean the space under solid furniture regularly, because a lot of dust collects there too, and as already mentioned, the accumulation of dust is not good for your health. Just slightly accommodate the cabinet and we’re sure you won’t be pleasantly surprised.

6. You let your pets sleep next to you – there is no person who does not love their pet, but still you should not let them near your bed because they carry bacteria, parasites and insects. Even if you take care of your pet’s fur and cleanliness, don’t let him sleep in your bed.

7. You keep too many unnecessary things in your home – they are just collecting dust and maybe it’s time to get rid of them. There’s no point in collecting unnecessary items that don’t make your home more beautiful anyway. When you remove them, your home will be much fresher, and you won’t have to spend hours mopping.

8. You do not ventilate regularly – regularly opening the windows to let in fresh air from outside is absolutely necessary if you want to protect yourself from the problems that stagnant air can cause you. Air out at least once every day and you’ll notice the difference very soon.
