Roses are the real queens of the garden. If you want them to please their flowering as long as possible, then immediately after removing the shelter, you need to carry out a series of activities that will restore the plants.
First of all, spring sanitary pruning of roses should be carried out, namely, cut out all frozen, diseased and broken shoots.
All sections after pruning should be covered with garden pitch.
Then you can move on to top dressing.
But it should be borne in mind that if the roses were originally planted in a well-fertilized pit, then the process of fertilizing can be repeated only after 2-3 years.
Immediately after removing the shelter, nitrogen top dressing is suitable.
After two weeks, a complex mineral fertilizer should be applied (where nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium will be in equal parts).
We must not forget about watering. If the soil dries out too much, then this negatively affects the condition of the plants. The first procedure can be carried out immediately, as soon as stable warm weather is established. Water for irrigation should be warm. Water should be poured under the root.
