Time frame of art festival Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk, visa-free entry for guests approved

MINSK, 30 March (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed an executive order on 30 March to approve the time frame of the 32nd international art festival Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk, BelTA has learned.

The main events are scheduled for 13-16 July 2023.

In order to attract more guests, the executive order waives visa requirements for entering the Republic of Belarus for participants and guests of the festival from 73 countries.

Foreign citizens will need original or electronic tickets for the festival events due to take place in the Summer Amphitheater or the concert hall Vitebsk in order to cross the Belarusian border without visas. One hardcopy ticket or one electronic ticket will allow one foreign citizen to enter the Republic of Belarus one time no later than the date of the event specified by the ticket.

Taking into account the established practice of state support for the festival the executive order also offers certain preferences to organizers and participants of the festival.
