A grave for two (Antigone in Kolonos)

A grave for two (Antigone in Kolonos) Рolitics

Scene: Theater

A family on the run where the sons are about to kill each other. Everyone in the family is scattered to the wind, the mother has already left for her own death. In their old country the father was a king, now he is nobody, now he is a suspected criminal and an anonymous old beggar wandering outside Athens with his daughter trying to find a last place for him to stay at. His name is Oedipus by the way. “A grave for two: Antigone in Kolonos†is a dense chamber piece on the move about the traces of the family in one’s own self, about responsibility and inheritance, about shared memories and everything that comes to the surface when you sense that the calls are calculated. By Sara Stridsberg Directed by Natalie Ringler With Lina Englund, Johan Rabaeus and Albin Oké.
