The official spokesman added that the two ministers also discussed holding the first session of the Egyptian/Polish Economic Committee in Warsaw during December 2024, headed by the Minister of International Cooperation and the Polish Minister of Development and Technology. They also touched on the issue of holding a new round of consultations between Egypt and Poland, headed by the assistant foreign ministers of the two countries in Cairo during the current year.

Ambassador Abu Zeid added that Minister Shukri discussed in detail the latest developments related to all dimensions of the raging crisis in the Gaza Strip, reiterating Egypt’s firm position calling for the inevitability of dealing immediately and responsibly with the explosive humanitarian crisis in the Strip, and the necessity of uniting efforts aimed at preventing the conflict from extending beyond It threatens the security and stability of the entire region.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs also stressed the need for an immediate and permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, and to ensure the complete, safe and unhindered access of humanitarian aid to the brotherly Palestinian people inside the Strip, calling for the necessity of implementing Security Council Resolution No. 2720 and all relevant resolutions of the Security Council and the United Nations General Assembly. relevance in this regard.
