Today, Friday, May 3, 2024, the Hamas movement appreciated the Turkish decisions to stop commercial dealings with Israel and announce its joining of South Africa’s lawsuit before the International Court of Justice.
She considered what she described as courageous decisions an extension and reflection of the position of the Turkish people in support of the struggle of the Palestinian people.

We highly value the decisions recently taken by the Republic of Turkey in victory for our Palestinian people, who are being subjected to horrific genocide, including stopping commercial dealings with the occupying entity, and announcing accession to the genocide lawsuit filed by South Africa against the criminal Zionist entity before the International Court of Justice. We consider these courageous decisions as an extension and reflection of the position of The authentic Turkish people support the struggle of our Palestinian people and their right to freedom and self-determination.
We call on all countries, especially the Arab and Islamic countries, to sever all ties with the Nazi-Zionist entity, isolate it internationally, and strive to hold it and its terrorist leaders accountable for their systematic crimes against our children and defenseless civilians in the Gaza Strip.
