Today, Friday, November 10, 2023, the Palestine Red Crescent Society announced that one person was killed and twenty others were injured, most of them children, when Israeli army snipers targeted Al-Quds Hospital, west of Gaza City.
The association said: “One martyr and 20 wounded among the ranks of the displaced, the majority of whom are children, two of whom were in critical condition, as a result of Israeli occupation snipers targeting Al-Quds Hospital.”
She explained that the reason for this was “direct fire on those in the building, in addition to fragments of artillery shells west of the hospital.”
It reported that there were “violent clashes (between the Israeli army and Palestinian resistance fighters), occupation snipers shooting at Al-Quds Hospital, and injuries among the displaced.”
For days, the Israeli army has been escalating its attacks against hospitals in the Gaza Strip, launching violent raids that led to deaths and injuries, in addition to great concern about the fate of the displaced in those hospitals.
