The US Treasury announced the lifting of sanctions against the commercial aviation company Emperor Aviation, which, according to Washington, is “connected” with the daughter of Russian senator Suleiman Karimov.
The text of the document, published on the website of the Ministry’s Office of Foreign Assets Control, states that sanctions have been lifted from Emperor Aviation, which, according to the US Treasury Department, is “associated” with Gulnara Karimova, the daughter of Russian Senator Suleiman Karimov.

In addition, sanctions were lifted on seven aircraft associated with this company.
Notably, the US included Emperor Aviation and its associated business aircraft on the US sanctions list against Russia in November 2022 and allowed transactions “that are carried out with it in the normal course and that are necessary to provide, export or re-export goods, technologies or services to ensure the safety of civil aviation.
According to the US Treasury Department, the airline has offices in Moscow and Malta.
