The US State Department said, this evening, Monday, April 29, 2024, that the United States found that 5 Israeli units were responsible for “serious violations” of human rights, noting that all the incidents occurred before the Hamas movement’s attack on southern Israel on October 7, and that None of these happened in the Gaza Strip.
The US Department explained that 4 of the 5 units that were monitored dealt with these violations effectively. She indicated that Tel Aviv provided more information about the fifth unit, while Washington continues dialogue with the Israeli government.
