There could be a great opportunity for Mick Schumacher to finally get a regular cockpit in Formula 1 again. That’s why he apparently switches to fight mode and immediately offers himself. In particular, the seat at Mercedes would be a great opportunity for him, after all, he is already a reserve driver for the traditional racing team, knows the team very well and team boss Toto Wolff thinks highly of him.

Schumi Jr. believes he can succeed Hamilton

Schumi Jr. himself believes he can succeed Hamilton. “It is of course a position that brings with it a lot of pressure. But in terms of feeling, I’m up to it,” he said in an interview with RTL/ntv and sport.de, but at the same time emphasized: “But it’s not my decision.”

The 24-year-old makes it clear: “My chance is here. I don’t know how big she is yet. I think it will also depend a bit on performance. Hopefully I can recommend myself. I think a few people out there know how good I am.”
