“I was looking forward to a new, sporting challenge and Den Bosch called at the right time, with the right story for me. Because even though the club did not want to bring me in as head coach, the plan and football vision of FC Den Bosch appeal to me very much. on,” Landvreugd said on the club website. “I find job satisfaction extremely important. From the very first moment I have experienced that I am working with like-minded people towards a higher goal.”
No secret
It was no secret that Landvreugd would like to take on the position of head coach at Telstar starting next season. However, the club from Velsen-Zuid opted for Anthony Correia. Landvreugd has been an assistant at Telstar since 2022. The Amsterdammer first did this under Andries Jonker and later under Mike Snoei. When the latter was fired from Telstar last winter, Landvreugd was promoted as interim head coach.
At Den Bosch, Landvreugd will work together with former professional David Nascimento. Nascimento last worked in the Netherlands as head coach of FC Eindhoven between 2018 and 2020. His last job was the national coach of the women of Jordan.
