It was no secret that Landvreugd would like to take on the position of head coach at Telstar starting next season. However, the club from Velsen-Zuid opted for Anthony Correia. “Of course that was a shame, but I already felt that things would go in that direction. I understand why the club chose Anthony. There is no grudge or envy. I wish everyone at Telstar the best.”
“I have gained a lot of experience at Telstar. It has made me a better trainer,” Landvreugd continues. “I worked with Andries Jonker and Mike Snoei, two special trainers. But now I am happy that Den Bosch chose me.” When Snoei was fired from Telstar last winter, Landvreugd was promoted as interim head coach.
