Volendam said goodbye to coach Zsigmond Makay last week. Assistant coach Maurits van Buren was moved on and is overjoyed with the arrival of Luciano. “She is an Olympian. When she walks into the locker room, it is a certain form of authority. She has handled it very well herself,” said Makay.
Olympics
In 2016, Luciano participated in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Before retiring in 2021, she played for French side Metz. The handball player still lives in the French city.
