One person is dead from injuries sustained in a Tuesday afternoon vehicle crash in Huntsville.
Huntsville police today said Robert Carter, 89, was taken to the hospital following the crash near U.S. 431 and Mountain Cove. He later died of his injuries.
The incident happened at about 4:43 p.m. Tuesday.
Three individuals in another vehicle were taken to Huntsville Hospital, treated and released, police said.
The crash shut down all southbound lanes and one northbound lane of U.S. 431. Police are investigating.
