ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one person dead Wednesday morning. Police say they were called to the area of Mountain Rd. and Rio Grande Rd. around 5 a.m. to reports of a shooting.
Officials say police found one person with gunshot wounds when they arrived on scene. That person was taken to a hospital, but died from their injuries. APD’s homicide unit is investigating the shooting. No other information is available.
