BPD in the Community: Officers assigned to the Bureau of Community Engagement hosted their weekly “Walk the Beat” program with their groups from Charlestown and the North End.
The group made a stop at Mayor Wu’s Coffee hour at Langone Park. The group gifted Mayor Wu a “Walk the Beat” t-shirt and took time for a photo op.
Superintendent Cullinane, Deputy Humphreys, Captain Martin, Mobile Operations Unit, Bicycle Unit, and officers assigned to District A-1 were all in attendance for the fun filled day.
The group was also able to speak with Boston Fire Department Commissioner Burke.
Following the coffee hour, the walk continued up Hanover Street to Umberto’s for some pizza. Officers could even be seen serving up pizzas!
