In Chernigov, an explosion occurred in a bank premises and a fire broke out. This was reported by the police of the Chernigov region.
The event occurred at 4 am on May 6th. The police received a report of an explosion at a bank in the center of Chernigov. As a result of the explosion, a fire broke out at the site and the building was damaged. There are no injured people.

Currently, rescuers from the State Emergency Service, investigative and operational teams of police and explosives technicians are working at the scene of the explosion. The leadership of the GUNP in the Chernigov region and the Chernigov district police department also arrived at the destroyed building.
“Information about the event was entered into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under Part 2 of Article 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (deliberate destruction or damage to property by explosion). The police are working at the scene of the incident,” the message says.
