They said they thought everything through carefully. Therefore, costumes should be an appropriate addition to the effectiveness of their act.
“These are not just costumes or something beautiful. Alena is really wearing chain mail, I’m wearing a dress that is really torn and on fire. The clothes have a lot of weight, it’s difficult to move with them, but we consciously chose this so that they are not just symbols, but so that We ourselves could feel it and broadcast it sadly. As a reference for my costume, we chose the image of the protector of the Archangel Michael. We looked at his clothes, which he broadcast. Someone says that this is Joan of Arc or Prometheus. which brings fire to people. I like all the options. This is a symbol of strong maidens,” said Jerry Heil in an interview with the Eurovision Ukraine channel.
And rapper AIuona AIuona added that her outfit has the following symbolism:
“My cape – it has multi-layered shoulders to show that a woman’s life now is hard, thorny, full of things that you don’t expect. They burn you, they push you. And you have to carry a bunch of bullets on your shoulders, but you get up , you pick up a sword and go fight. My chain mail weighs 3 kg, and 10 thousand rings were used to make it. “
By the way, you can see the performance of the duet Alyona Alyona and Jerry Heil in the first semi-final on May 7. The singers will perform at number 5 with the song “Teresa & Maria” in the Swedish city of Malmo.
The second semi-final will take place on May 9, and the grand final will take place on May 11.
