Easter – recipe without yeast

Ingredients:

  • eggs (C0) – 5 pcs.;
  • salt – 0.5 tsp;
  • sugar – 1.5 cups (glass volume 200 ml);
  • vanilla sugar – 3 sachets (21 g);
  • butter – 1 pack;
  • milk – 2/3 cup (150 ml);
  • flour – 4.5 cups (600 g);
  • baking powder – 2 sachets (20 g);
  • orange zest;
  • dried fruits (raisins, dried apricots, cranberries) – 150 g.

This amount of ingredients is designed for two large Easter eggs (3 cm paper form) or 4 small ones (9 cm form).

Preheat the oven to 180C. Mix eggs with salt, sugar and vanilla sugar and beat until fluffy and light.

You need to take 6 eggs of category C1.

Add soft butter, beat again, pour in milk, stir. Mix flour with baking powder and add to the main mixture and mix. Grate the lemon zest on a fine grater, add the zest and washed dried fruits to the dough, mix.

Fill the baking pans 3/4 full. Place in a preheated oven to bake for 30-35 minutes – quick Easter without yeast is ready.

Decorate the top of the baked goods with glaze, candied fruits, nuts or sprinkles – we previously told you how to prepare gelatin glaze, which does not stick or crack.
