The cash exchange rate of the dollar to the hryvnia in Ukrainian banks on Wednesday, May 8, decreased by 2 kopecks – to 39.75 UAH per dollar on average. Today you can sell American currency in banks at an average rate of 39.25 UAH per dollar.

The average exchange rate of the euro to the hryvnia today decreased by 5 kopecks and is 42.85 UAH per euro. You can sell European currency at the rate of 42.20 UAH per euro.

In Kyiv currency exchange offices, the dollar has not changed today and is 39.75 UAH/dollar on average (you can sell a dollar for 39.65 UAH). The cash euro exchange rate in exchange offices today decreased by 1 kopeck and is 42.87 UAH/euro (sales rate is 42.70 UAH/euro).

As of Wednesday, May 8, the National Bank of Ukraine set the official dollar-hryvnia exchange rate at UAH 39.30/dollar, thus, the hryvnia strengthened by 6 kopecks compared to the previous figure. The official NBU exchange rate for the euro as of Wednesday was set at 42.31 UAH/euro, that is, the hryvnia increased by 9 kopecks compared to yesterday’s rate.

The cash dollar exchange rate in Ukraine this week until May 10 will fluctuate within the range of 39.60 – 40.30 UAH/USD, predicts Anna Zolotko, director of the treasury operations department at Unex Bank.
