Russia lost more than 1,200 invaders, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Army shared.
The total losses of the Russian Federation in Ukraine over the past 24 hours have seriously increased and “jumped” a new psychological mark – now they amount to more than 473 thousand invaders.
Over the course of 24 hours, 1,260 invaders were killed, and now the total enemy losses as of May 4, 2024 amount to about 473,400 enemies, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
Russia, in particular, lost a lot of weapons – two air defense systems, one cruise missile, two multiple launch rocket systems and 46 artillery systems.
The following enemy equipment was eliminated:
- 12 tanks;
- 27 armored combat vehicles;
- 71 units of automotive equipment and tank trucks;
- 8 units of special equipment.
In addition, 31 enemy drones of the operational-tactical level were destroyed.

Opponents have been trying to move forward on a number of fronts for a long time. The Russians have an advantage in the number of manpower and ammunition. Despite this, Ukrainian soldiers give them a worthy rebuff and inflict serious losses. Total enemy casualties as of May 3, 2024 were approximately 472,140 occupiers.
On the morning of the 4th, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that over the past 24 hours, 119 military clashes took place at the front. According to his information, the most attacks from the Russians were repelled in the Avdeevsky and Bakhmutsky directions – 34 and 27, respectively.
