There is some pretty good news in the direction of Serebryansky forestry (Lugansk region), where the enemy suffered “some losses.”
A serviceman from the “Offensive Guard”, Alexander Mamai, said this during a telethon. He noted that he could not disclose details now, but after a while officials would tell what happened.
“As long as the Serebryansky forest stands, and as long as Seversk also stands, the Russians cannot implement their strategically important plan for a campaign against Slavyansk and Kramatorsk,” Mamai emphasized.
At the same time, he emphasized that for Russians Slavyansk is an ideologically very important city, because it was from this city that everything began in 2014, when Russia started the war with Ukraine.
“But as long as Belogorovka holds, and Seversk holds, respectively, while Serebryansky Forest holds, the enemy cannot take the central axis and, accordingly, they press further north, on Kupyansk, Terny. There was a lot of activity in the Ternov area and the Russians tried to bypass Serebryansky Forest directly in a small ring – in the Ternov region, the Russians traditionally operate in two rings, trying to cover the northern and southern flanks with a smaller ring and a higher ring,” he said.
According to him, the enemy suffered huge losses in manpower and armored vehicles near Terny. At the same time, he added that the situation there is difficult for us, too, but the Russians were unable to gain a foothold and come close to Terny.
“That’s why they are trying to put pressure even further north on this outer ring in the Kupyansk area. And the southern flank is important for the Russians, which is why they are so active in the area west of Bakhmut and Avdeevka, where the enemy is trying to cut the Konstantinovka-Pokrovsk highway,” he said.

As UNIAN reported, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in the Liman direction the Defense Forces repelled 7 attacks in the areas of Nevsky, Serebryansky forestry in the Lugansk region and Ternov and Yampolovka in the Donetsk region.
An officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a holder of the Order of Bogdan Khmelnitsky, Nikolai Melnik, noted that the Russians are trying to attack either Mikhailovka, Chasov Yar, or Serebryansky forestry. They are gradually transferring their forces and trying to improve their tactical position. He noted that it is impossible to say that our defense system is total and indestructible, because if we talk about Robotino, the Russians calmly enter there, but they do not have the strength to consolidate.
