Mobilization in Ukraine – how to appeal the decision of the IHC – UNIAN

The status of limited fitness for military service is canceled War in Ukraine news

Miroshnichenko also explained how the Military Military Commission will make a decision on the suitability or unsuitability of a person liable for military service.

The possibility of appealing the decision of the Military Medical Commission will remain in the updated legislation, Dmitry Miroshnichenko, an officer of the Central Military Medical Commission, said during the telethon.

“We have improved it. From now on, if a person is examined by a military medical commission, he does not agree with this conclusion and the regular Military Medical Commission decides that there are grounds to examine the person again, because something was not taken into account or recorded incorrectly, it happens different things, now such an event will be held in another health care institution, not in the one in which the decision that is being appealed was adopted, so that the commission that made the decision will not make it again,” Miroshnichenko explained.

He also explained how the IHC will make a decision on the suitability or unsuitability of a person liable for military service.

“Individual assessment has been somewhat simplified in this regard, since we have defined clearer criteria for establishing the degree of suitability – from fit to completely unfit. We have revised the schedule of illnesses, explanations for it in the table of additional requirements for health status. We have also revised our views on recognizing the suitability or unfitness of individuals who were seriously injured and have amputation or absence of visual organs,” Miroshnichenko noted.
