War in Ukraine news

The commander of the Tavria group of troops, Alexander Tarnavsky, said that when Ukrainian fighters encounter Russian troops, who fight more effectively, they suspect that they may be mercenaries.

Mercenaries from the Wagner PMC continue to meet on various front lines in Ukraine. This was stated by the commander of the Tavria group of troops, General Alexander Tarnavsky, in an interview with CNN.

According to him, “Wagnerians” appear “now here and now there.” He noted that when Ukrainian fighters encounter Russian troops, who fight more effectively, they suspect that they may be mercenaries.

“We suspect the presence of “Wagnerites” if we see the containment of our offensive forces with the involvement of that category of military personnel who perform these tasks in a more interesting (more non-standard) way,” he explained.

Tarnavsky said that from time to time Ukrainian fighters also find insignia of the Wagner PMC.

“The fact is that their badges appear here and there – this happens all the time,” the general said.
