If you bake cutlets in the oven, they will not be as fatty as those fried in a frying pan. But very tasty.

Cutlets are usually cooked in a frying pan. But in the oven they turn out no less tasty. And without excess fat. The minced meat for cutlets in the oven can be anything – chicken or turkey. The recipe for delicious and juicy cutlets was shared on the Fayni Recepty website.

Cutlets in the oven

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg of meat (beef + pork);
  • 3 potatoes;
  • two onions;
  • two eggs;
  • spices, fresh herbs, salt, black pepper;
  • 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil.

We twist the meat along with onions and herbs through a meat grinder. Or take ready-made minced meat, chop the onion and herbs and add to the minced meat. Also add eggs, salt and add spices to your taste and ground black pepper.

Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until smooth and beat the minced meat a little on the table.

Grate the potatoes on a coarse grater. This secret ingredient will help make the cutlets juicy in the oven.

Squeeze the potatoes a little from the juice and place them in a bowl with minced meat. Mix the minced meat thoroughly again.

With wet hands, form small round balls from the minced meat and squeeze them on both sides, place them on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet.

Grease the top of the cutlets with oil or put a small piece of butter on each cutlet, this will make them more juicy.

Place the baking sheet in an oven preheated to 200°C and bake for 10 minutes. Then reduce the temperature to 180°C and cook for another 20 minutes. Juicy cutlets are ready.
