Military commissars of the Beregovo district TCC claim that they tried to update the military registration data of one Roma citizen. Meanwhile, fellow villagers are sure that the military wanted to kidnap the two men.

A group of women of Roma ethnicity apologized to the military of the city of Vinogradov in the Transcarpathian region for the attack and fight that occurred the day before. In the video, filmed by unknown persons, seven women can be seen saying words of apology. Local journalist Vitaly Glagola wrote on his Telegram channel about how the situation with the conflict between the territorial recruitment center and the Roma developed.

Glagola published a message apologizing to the Roma on the afternoon of May 4th. The author of the message noted that the video shows Roma from the village of Onok, Beregovsky district of Transcarpathia. According to him, the defendants underwent a “preventive conversation”, as a result of which they “rethought their behavior.” The journalist did not write with whom exactly the women communicated and who influenced them in this way.

Four women appear in the video one after another. Each of them repeats the same text: “I apologize to the military for yesterday for what I did.” After this, the seven women were lined up in front of the camera and they repeated their words again.

“We ask for forgiveness from the military of the city of Vinogradov. We are from the village of Onok. This will not happen again. Glory to Ukraine,” they said.

The fight between the Roma and the TCC became known on the night of May 4th. On the morning of May, the Transcarpathian Regional TCC commented on the situation. In a note on the Facebook page, they explained that on May 3, military commissars tried to deliver a local resident of Roma nationality, Vasily Lakatosh, to the 1st department of the Beregovsky district TCC and SP. The main goal of such actions is to clarify military registration data. In response, Vasily’s fellow villagers began to commit “hooligan acts” and tried to break into the territory of the military facility.
