The main purpose of the ship is to transport fuel and refuel warships.

After Germany’s defeat in World War II, the T 13 Else came under British control in May 1945. The British Navy used the ship until 1946 under the name Empire Tigina. On June 20, 1946, the ship was handed over to the USSR in the form of reparations to Germany. From the same year it was put into operation by the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol.

Despite its age, the Istra is still used by the Russians to supply the fleet. According to the latest public information, Istra was part of the 205th detachment of support ships.

Fire fighting boat “PZhK-37”

Various boats were manufactured in the Soviet Union. “PZhK-37” is one of the oldest in Project 364.
