The household includes all persons registered in the residential premises, except for those household members who are abroad for more than 60 days.

If three people are registered in a residential building, but the wife and child have gone abroad, the housing subsidy is assigned per household member. This was reported by the Pension Fund of Ukraine.

The Pension Fund received a request for the right to receive a subsidy from citizens registered in the apartment, given the fact that some of them are temporarily abroad.

“A family of three is registered in the apartment. The wife and child went abroad. How many people will be taken into account when assigning a subsidy?” the question says.

Thus, the PFU noted that a household includes all persons registered in a residential premises, with the exception of those who have been abroad for more than 60 days at the time of applying for a housing subsidy.

That is, if three people are registered in a residential building, but the wife and child went abroad and are there for more than 60 days on the day of applying for a housing subsidy, then the housing subsidy is assigned per household member.

Let us remind you that on April 18 it was reported whether it is possible to receive benefits if you have utility debts. The subsidy can be received by families whose payment for housing and communal services exceeds the minimum level determined by the government, which is 15% of the total monthly income of all family members.

We also remind you that in Ukraine internally displaced persons (IDPs) will receive a special subsidy for rental housing. The size of the subsidy will depend on the cost of renting housing in the regions where citizens have moved.
