Telegram is removing official bots that helped adjust fire on the enemy. This happened after there were calls to block the messenger in Ukraine. Journalist Konstantin Ryzhenko wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
According to him, this wave of indignation and “hype” reached the founder of Telegram, after which it was decided to remove all the bots that were necessary to transmit coordinates. It is noteworthy that such restrictions will apply to both sides of the conflict – Ukraine and Russia.
“Now the official “eVorog-bot” does not work. The SBU “Stop Russian War Bot” does not work. Our bot for coordinates in the south of Ukraine does not work. Our air defense bot for tracking suicide bombers does not work. There are also a bunch of other bots for coordinating and interacting with residents of TOT (temporarily occupied territories – ed.) do not work,” wrote Konstantin Ryzhenko.

Separately, the journalist added that the official bot “eVorog” stopped working, but Russian intelligence services created many of its clones, which continue to work even now. In this way, the enemy collects information about users who shared information about the coordinates of the Russian Armed Forces.
Accordingly, they should not be used under any circumstances, because this could have global consequences.
“Real bots don’t work, and fake bots replace them. This is important, because of such things, many people in the occupation end up in torture chambers,” concluded Konstantin Ryzhenko.

New restrictions from Telegram also affected the official bot of the Legion “Freedom of Russia” (LSR). Representatives of the formation stated that all official chatbots of armed units and government agencies of Ukraine were targeted.
“Your information is safe and will not fall into the hands of the security forces: the chatbot is only an information page and does not save your data. While we are dealing with the problem, we urge you not to fall into the trap of Putin’s special services, which are creating clone bots en masse,” it says message.
