The Ukrainian Armed Forces on the front line have not yet received help from the United States, - Kuleba War in Ukraine news

According to the head of the Foreign Ministry, the Ukrainian military is “starving” due to a shortage of artillery shells, and their positions are being destroyed.

Despite all the efforts of Western partners, aid supplies to Ukraine are “behind schedule.” Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba stated this in an interview with Foreign Policy.

“There is a time gap between the announcement of the package and the moment when the Ukrainian artilleryman will receive more shells to fire back at the Russian occupiers. And this moment has not yet arrived because everything that was announced is still on the way. And in this time period they may terrible things will happen, in particular the offensive of Russian troops on the ground,” Kuleba noted.

The head of Ukrainian diplomacy added that Ukrainian defenders are “starving” due to a lack of artillery shells, and their positions are being destroyed. Therefore, in war conditions, not only the quantity and quality of what is provided is important, but also the delivery time.

Military assistance from the United States will not end the war: Kuleba said that he can stop the Russians

“When I look at Russia’s achievements in rebuilding its military-industrial base, and at the achievements of the West, we must face the truth and admit that the Russian Federation is more effective in its military efforts. And this poses the main question for the West. If it cannot be effective enough in this particular military operation, how effective can it be if wars and crises of the same magnitude break out? – the minister added.

On April 26, it became known that the United States had completed work on one of the largest packages of military assistance to Ukraine. However, the Defense Forces will not soon receive equipment and weapons from these contracts because they are a program of the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI).

Besides Focus wrote that, according to Western analysts, the new US aid package of $60 billion is not enough for the Ukrainian Armed Forces to radically change the situation at the front.
