46-year-old Ukrainian blogger Restless Monroe recently received a “silver button” from YouTube, having gathered an army of 100,000 fans on her channel.
In an exclusive interview Focus the star, among other things, spoke about the main changes in her life after the start of the big war, thoughts about emigration, joint filming with Vladimir Zelensky, experience of interaction with the TCC and the transition to the Ukrainian language.
In addition, Monroe agreed to answer a number of questions about life and work in a blitz format.

— What conclusions did you draw during the years of full-scale war?
- I have a stable psyche, I quickly adapt to major changes and can support myself and others.
- Modern War is not a movie about World War II.
- The material world means nothing when a rocket is flying at you.
— If on February 23, 2022 you found out that there would be an invasion tomorrow, what would you do?
“I wouldn’t believe it and fell asleep peacefully, turning off the sound on my phone.”
— You have traveled around Europe. In your opinion, how do Ukrainians differ most from other nations?
— An inferiority complex and ignorance of the English language, and they also looked like Russians, unfortunately. But we adapted skillfully and knew how to save money.
“There is no guarantee that in a woman’s body, I would not feel like a man”

— Have you thought about adopting a child?
– No. I’m not ready to take responsibility for a child’s life.
— If you were born in the body of a woman, would you be happier than you are now?
“I don’t know, but I would definitely feel differently.” There is no guarantee that in the body of a woman, I would not feel like a man.
— What are you ashamed of in life, and what are you most proud of?
“I’m ashamed that I used people for personal gain, insulted them and spread false gossip.” I am proud that I can admit mistakes and forgive.
— What brings you pleasure in life?
— Learning, communication, spirits, searching for the meaning of life, psychotherapy, nature, YouTube and curiosity about what will happen next.
— How do you see your ideal life? Describe a typical day.
— Wake up in Ukraine, where there is no war. And live with confidence that the country is protected. Everything else is lyrics.
