According to the PFU, some categories of Ukrainian citizens can receive benefits from 450 to 3,100 hryvnia.

In the summer of 2024, some Ukrainians will be provided with one-time financial support from the state. These payments will be associated with the celebration of Independence Day and can amount to up to 3.1 thousand hryvnia. This was reported in one of the departments of the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU).

According to experts from the Pension Fund of Ukraine, war veterans and some other categories of citizens can expect one-time payments in honor of an important date for the country – Independence Day.

The size of the lump sum payment starts from 450 hryvnia. The following categories of citizens will receive it:

  • war participants and former prisoners of concentration camps/ghettos/other places of forced detention;
  • persons forcibly transported to forced labor;
  • children of partisans No.
  • underground fighters, other participants in the fight against the National Socialist regime behind enemy lines.

A payment of 650 hryvnia is also provided. The following categories of citizens will receive it:

  • family members of deceased/dead war veterans, whose status was established in accordance with paragraph 1 of Article 10 of the law “On the status of war veterans, guarantees of their social protection”;
  • wives of deceased persons who were disabled as a result of war;
  • wives of deceased combatants/war participants and victims of Nazi persecution, recognized during their lifetime as persons with disabilities due to a general illness, work injury, or other reasons, who did not remarry.

In addition, a payment of 1000 hryvnia is provided. This amount will be received by:

  • combatants, injured participants of the Revolution of Dignity;
  • former minors (at the time of imprisonment) prisoners of concentration camps, ghettos, and other places of forced detention, as well as children born there.

The maximum payout is 3,100 hryvnia. This will be assigned to the following categories of people:

  • persons who have special services to the Motherland;
  • persons with disabilities resulting from war;
  • former minors (under 14 years old at the time of imprisonment) prisoners of concentration camps/ghettos/other places of forced detention;
  • recognized persons with disabilities due to general illness, work injury and other reasons.

Let us recall that on March 13 it became known that the state will pay increased social assistance to the children of deceased defenders and defenders who voluntarily participated in the defense of Ukraine and were not part of the volunteer formations of territorial communities (DFTG).
