In the evening of May 29 on Sobornosti Volkswagen avenue hit teenagers on a scooter.
This was reported in the press service of the Volyn police.
A 24-year-old resident of Luhansk, while driving a Volkswagen Passat, ran into a 14-year-old schoolboy who was riding an electric scooter on a bicycle path.
As a result of the car accident, the boy received injuries and was hospitalized.
The police seized the car and the scooter.
Based on this fact, the investigators started criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules or transport operation by persons driving vehicles) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
