A serious traffic accident left two dead and two seriously injured this Monday, May 6 in Thibouville (Eure). The events took place around 4 p.m. on the RD613, say the firefighters.
The car caught fire
According to emergency services, a collision occurred between a heavy goods vehicle carrying sheep and a car. It then completely burst into flames with four people inside.
A man and a woman, aged 65 and 64, were able to be taken out by people before help arrived. Seriously injured, they were transported to hospitals in Rouen and Évreux.
The two other people, who remained inside the vehicle, died. One of them is a 64-year-old woman. The other victim could not be identified.
The driver of the heavy goods vehicle was unhurt.
