†In continuation of the research regarding the event that occurred in the evening of April 4, following which a 52-year-old woman from the municipality of Caracal, Olt county, allegedly went into cardio-respiratory arrest in following an endoscopic exploration intervention, on 03.05.2024, she died. Taking into account the evidence administered so far, corroborated with the preliminary medico-legal conclusions, as well as the suspicion of a case of medical malpractice, the investigations will be continued under the aspect of committing the crime of manslaughter , following that upon their completion, a thorough and legal solution will be proposed, through the competent prosecutor’s office.the representatives of IPJ Dolj have also sent.
The police opened an investigation after the event from the beginning of April.

The woman was resuscitated and admitted in serious condition to the Intensive Care Unit.
