So far in 2024, the Conadeh has received 93 complaints of child abuse, many of them linked to bullying, also known as bullying.

Candida Maradiagacoordinator of the Conadeh Children’s Ombudsman unit, stated that “the issue of bullying is a concern because it has become normalized. “While it is true, there has always been bullying, in our times there has always been bullying, but there were other conditions.”

Of the 278 complaints handled in 2023, at least 43 were related to abuse caused by private individuals, 18 by family members, and 15 due to school dropouts.
