Al-Israa University, in cooperation with the Commission of Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs, hosted a farewell meeting for the honorable pilgrims of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, from the families of prisoners and released prisoners, on the main campus of the university in Al-Zahraa.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Alaa Matar, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Professor Hassan Quneita, Director General of the Commission for Prisoners and Ex-Detainees Affairs in the southern governorates, and Sheikh Dr. Hassan Helles.

In the speech of Israa University, Dr. Alaa Matar, expressing the University of Israa, since its blessed inception, to assume its national responsibilities and provide everything it can to serve the community and its various judges, and to actively contribute to the implementation of the rights of the Palestinian people, foremost of which is support for the rights of prisoners in the occupation prisons.

Dr. added. Matar, on this occasion of faith dear to our hearts, we affirm the demand of the international community to shoulder its moral and legal responsibilities and work hard to stop the Israeli violations against the Palestinian prisoners. Before the international courts, foremost of which is the International Criminal Court.

Major General Qadri Abu Bakr, head of the Commission for Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners’ Affairs, addressed the pilgrims to the honor of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, including the families of the prisoners and the released prisoners, appreciating everyone’s efforts to overcome the obstacles facing the pilgrims of the families of the prisoners and the released prisoners.

For his part, thanked a. Hasan Quneita, Al-Isra University for hosting this meeting and all the important national meetings, which indicates that it is the university of patriots, stressing that the Prisoners’ Authority always seeks to serve the prisoners, their families, and the liberated ones. Therefore, we must be messengers of the issues of our prisoners and martyrs, and witnesses to the generations’ communication with the issues of the prisoners and the liberated ones.

Quneita emphasized the importance of seizing every opportunity and every occasion so that there would be a presence for our prisoners, pointing out that the Prisoners Affairs Authority confirmed, through its work and directing this regiment in a patriotic manner with distinction, to confirm that the issues of our prisoners are unitary issues.

For his part, between Dr. Hassan Hellas, the virtue of Hajj and its importance in the lives of Muslims, reviewing the stages of Hajj, starting from entering Makkah until completing the performance of the ritual to the fullest, calling for taking advantage of this opportunity to achieve a positive impact on their lives, strengthening the relationship with God, and promoting the values ​​of love in Muslim societies and around the world.
